Licentiate Lauren Carvajal Avila
Lauren Carvajal Avila is a Costa Rican-Canadian with over 20 years of experience in strategic communications in the healthcare sector, including pharmaceutical companies, clinics, private hospitals, professional health associations, pharmacy chains, fundraising and sports.
Her main role is to guide clients through a strategic planning process to ensure that marketing and communication plans are connected and aligned with the strategic objectives of the organization or company.
She leads a multidisciplinary team of talented professionals in different areas of communication, working from traditional to digital structures; always using the best of creativity to give value to each project.
Worked as a reporter and producer in various radio, newspaper, and TV newsrooms, including the National Radio and Television System SINART. Lauren has been a professor in various public relations and communications courses for prestigious universities in Costa Rica, as well as a trainer in corporate crisis management and its manuals.
She holds a degree in Journalism and a specialization in Marketing Communications from the Latina University of Costa Rica. Additionally, she has professional Canadian training from Humber and Centennial Colleges in project management, marketing and sales, digital marketing and business analytics: decision making from Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.
Currently, she provides her services remotely from Canada to any part of Costa Rica, Central America and the world.
